MEF State Liaisons

The MEF State Liaisons (MSL) assist the MAEOPP Education Foundation in raising scholarship funds for students. MSL also get the opportunity to learn and participate in a new profession while they volunteer.

The basic duties of MSL are as follows:

Identify, or assist in identifying, potential funding sources;

Coordinate fund raising activities in the respective states.

Coordinate The Annual Campaign and other fund raising campaigns

Develop and implement relevant public relations materials

Assist the Foundation in preparing and implementing its strategic fund raising plan;

Develop and implement MEF and MAEOPP Board training sessions;

Develop and implement general training sessions for persons interested in becoming a MSL

Identify resource persons who can assist the Foundation in raising scholarships and award resources

Prepare and implement workshops at Chapter and the MAEOPP Annual Conference; and

Represent the Foundation in meetings with donors and potential donors.
