Membership

Membership in the association is initiated through the chapters. There is no individual membership in a chapter apart from the membership in the Association.

There are six types of membership:

Active Professional | Associate | Affiliate

Student | Institutional | Honorary

Membership status

Can be verified via the Membership Chair of your chapter or through MAEOPP Registrar, Bob Jenkins or by email.

Membership fees are valid for one year. You may also check with your chapter President-Elect for your current status.

Membership Benefits:

The TRIO Link - Newsletter features national, regional, and state, news, legislative issues relevant to TRIO and other educational opportunity programs.

Representation on the national level - Membership provides an important link to the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE).

Reduced Registration fees - MAEOPP members attend regional conferences at reduced rates.

Emerging Leaders Institute - A new class of emerging leaders are sponsored each year by the association.

Student Leadership Conference - Annual event which provides opportunities for leadership development for TRIO students that participate at member institutions

Membership Directory - A directory is produced each year with complete personnel information
